Update on Banquet to honor Dave Zien for his service in the Wisconsin legislature
Things are moving along nicely with the January 20th banquet, honoring Dave Zien for his service in the Wisconsin legislature and his devotion to motorcyclists and veterans.
There will be some very special raffle items on display including a beautiful photograph of Dave and his bike (which has in access of 845,000 miles to date). Easyriders and Biker magazines will cover this event because of who Dave is and what he has accomplished. A number of Sturgis Freedom Fighter Hall of Fame members will be present, including Rogue (an icon in Connecticut's battle to become free), New York Myke, San Diego, Jim Putnam, South Dakota, Tommy Thompson, former governor of Wisconsin and Sec. Of Health and Human Services, and Tony "Pan" Sanfelipo, Founder, ABATE of Wisconsin.
Also expected are representatives of the AMA, MRF and various ABATE chapters. Dave's epic motorcycle will be on display for photo opportunities, and there will be presentations by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs for Wisconsin and the president of the Iron Butt Association.
