We are saddened to report the passing of Jack Wheeler, who was the Assistant State Coordinator of ABATE of Illinois due to a traffic accident on October 21st, 2004 near the IL/IN Border on I-80. We send our condolences to Lin, his wife and all his family and friends. There will be a public viewing for Jack as follows: Sunday October 24, 2004, 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Hirsch Funeral Home, 1340 Otto Blvd, Chicago Heights, IL 60411. Jack’s remains will then be cremated and a memorial service will be scheduled in the near future. Lin is doing well considering and asks that you please wait a day or two before calling. The family requests in lieu of flowers cash donations would be greatly appreciated to help with expenses.
